Vision Statement

Owings Mills Elementary is committed to ensuring the success of all students, teachers, and parents by providing a safe and nurturing learning environment. Students will engage in rigorous and relevant learning that incorporates a variety of learning styles and technology. Student will take risks, have fun, and show creativity as they develop critical 21st century skills. As a learning community, we will prepare globally competitive students who are responsible, productive, life-long learners.

WHAT'S HAPPENING

 
All 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have a license to use Edutyping.  
  
Edutyping is an online program designed to teach keyboarding skills. 
   Three 15 minute sessions a week are recommended.
   Students can access Edutyping through BCPSOne.


All students in grades K - 6  have a license to use DreamBox.
   DreamBox is an online math tutorial program students use  
   independently. Students can access DreamBox through BCPSOne.
